A variant of location-based game that takes place entirely inside one building. Depending on the preferences it can be a crime story, search for a hidden treasure or a loosely connected series of challenges in which the teams of players compete. No matter which scenario is chosen the players get a chance to explore their hotel building, get to know its secrets and meet unusual characters scatterd through its areas. For example in a crime scenario the suspects pose as ordinary hotel guests and use the same facilities as the players do every day (such as the restaurant, the swimming pool or the conference room). The proximity and ease of travel between the locations make this game mode more convenient and enable the teams to focus more on the plot than on navigating the area.
This game is perfect for events in remote areas, where there is not much to see outside the hotel. It is also a good alternative for standard location-based games during the winter, when exploring the city space can be too demanding for most players and the temperature rules out many outdoor activities.
